The CCArray believes Science should be for the public benefit. We do this by engaging the public as partners in the research process with programs like the Community Science Liaison program.
The Community Science Liaison Program
Inspiring future Scientists by connecting Canadian K-12 schools with diverse science programs
This program builds long term relationships between K-12 schools and science programs through local Community Science Liaisons
Community Science Liaisons will consult with their individual communities to develop place- and curriculum-based K-12 Citizen Science projects in concert with Scientists to address community curiosity, questions, and concerns
Case Study - The Geological Bumble Bee Program
Guiding grade 2-5 students towards becoming environmental stewards through citizen science programs examining the impact of climate change on our native bumble bee species
